John Willson Budibent was born in december 1912 in Epsom, Surrey. He was a son of John Bryan and Ethel Gertrude Budibent. He was married to Nancy Frances Budibent of Southfields, London. Budibent resided in Croydon, Surrey. 
Budibent was a member of the Corps of Military Police and later of the Headquarters Company of the 156th Battalion. He served with the Intelligence Section of this company. His twin brother Clement was also a member of the same company. According to the book 'From Delhi to Arnhem' (page 143), about the 156th Battalion, John Budibent was killed on the dropzone on 18 september. 
According to the Roll of Honour Budibent was buried north of the Sonnenberg House in Oosterbeek. He was later reburied at the Airborne Cemetery in Oosterbeek.
