Alfred John Brazier was a son of Arthur John and Edith Brazier, of Camp Hill, Birmingham.
Brazier was posted into 166 squadron on 21 February 1944. On 13 June 1944 he was aboard Lancaster MK III ND399. The plane's target was Gelsenkirchen in Germany. At about 02.30 hrs the Lancaster was shot down by a German night-fighter. It crashed at Ugchelen-Willemsbos, directly west of Apeldoorn. All 7 occupants died in the crash. Their names are:
