Peter John Brazier was a son of Jonathan Philip and Mabel Alice Brazier of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
Brazier served with 25 Flight, E Squadron. He landed on 18 september 1944 near Wolfheze. His Horsa glider was carrying an Airborne bulldozer (Clark Air Tractor Crawler), a motorcycle and an airborne trailer. To unload the bulldozer the landing support struts of the Horsa were blown away by small charges of explosive to settle the Horsa on its belly.   
According to the Roll of Honour published by the Society of Friends of the Airborne Museum (Jan Hey 1999 and 2011) Brazier was given a field burial 100 metres north of the Hartenstein Hotel at Oosterbeek.
In 1945 Brazier was listed in the London Gazette for Mentioned in Despatches.
