Roy Russell Boulter was a son of Alfred and Alice Maud Mary Boulter of Horfield, Bristol.
According to the Roll of Honour published by the Society of Friends of the Airborne Museum (Jan Hey 1999 and 2011) Boulter was the pilot of Mosquito HX-592. On 17 september 1944 he and navigator Eric Rawlins left Thorney Island airfield. The plane was shot down by Flak and crashed at 't Zand, Lent around 1200hrs. Boulter was given a field burial beside the aircraft.
